What makes me sign up for Mooseburger Camp over and over? Being surrounded by my clown friends, teachers and mentors who believe in me and in one another and sharing why we are all clowns…to bring smiles and laughter to our communities. Some of us do it big, with shows and parties; some of us do it small, with a child at the park. I receive such wonderful support and encouragement from all my clown friends, teachers, and mentors who believe in me and lift me up when I don’t believe in myself… that is why I love Mooseburger and keep coming back.

I talked with Tricia and she emailed me a sketch of my clown costume, then I chose the colors of my costume, including the fabric and the large clown buttons. Later, I met with her and she took my measurements – and several weeks later, I received my clown costume in the mail. I put the costume on and it fit perfectly and was an excellent match for the clown I want to be.

This was the first clowning school that I have gone to. I have to say the knowledge you leave with is beyond belief. The instructors have the greatest resumes you could ever imagine. Already planning on going back next year to take classes I haven’t taken and new classes being offered. If you miss out on this then it is your loss.

Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp gave me the confidence and skills to take clowning from a dream into a reality. The coursework was practical, inspiring, and filled with tools I could immediately use. Thanks to my instructor providing guidance that went far beyond technique in creating a show, and what I learned at Moosburger, I now have a complete clown show that I can bring to schools, libraries, and family venues. This camp didn’t just teach me how to clown, it opened the door to a new creative venture and gave me the confidence to perform.

Great source of clown supplies including individually designed costumes that really make the clown better looking and bring out the individual personality of the clown. Costumes are made with meticulous care and wear like iron.

MooseCamp provided me a unique opportunity to experiment, to try new things, to fail (who cares!), and to grow while being surrounded by supportive and kind people.
